Janet Rhind
Fibre & Wearable Artist

From a young age, I have always been curious about how clothes are made and things connected together. Color, texture, embroidery, weaving; all textile arts are my classroom and experimenting with each is sheer joy. So it's natural that I became addicted to 100% cotton, threads, trims and "shiny" things. Like a kid in a candy store, I couldn't get enough, and thankfully, still can't.

After completing a three month solo exhibition in 2007 at the Quilt Gallery in St. Jacobs, Ontario, I now have work in England, Scotland, Australia, Canada and the U.S.
